PHYSICAL THERAPY SERVICES One-to-one Treatments All aspects of your treatment will be performed by the Physical Therapist. We do not utilize aides or techs. Evaluations and treatment sessions are allotted one hour. Manual Therapy Manual Therapy is a hands on method of assessment and treatment of soft tissue and joint structures. We are skilled in advanced manual therapy techniques and are working toward Level III certification with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy. Exercise/Home Exercise Program Real Rehab physical therapists realize the importance and value of functional therapeutic activities in the rehabilitation and prevention of injury. We emphasize the prescription of customized exercise programs both in the clinic and especially as a home program. Our patients should expect to play an active role in their own care. Patient Education A large part of a patient's rehabilitation involves education to facilitate healing and prevent re-injury. Patients must have a thorough understanding of the mechanics of their injury, self treatment techniques, and how to modify their environment. Real Rehab physical therapists have this knowledge and will take the time to impart it to their patients. Physician Contact/Communication Reports of Initial Evaluation, Status/Progress, and Discharge will be sent to the referral source in a timely manner to allow continuity of care without unnecessary delays.
