MICHELLE BOSTICK  
   

Michelle brings to our clinic experience working in multiple orthopedic outpatient settings and working with a diverse range of patients, covering the lifespan from pediatrics on up. Michelle focuses on identifying the biomechanical causes of her patients' injuries, and she uses a multifaceted approach to create a well-balanced treatment program. Understanding that each patient has different needs for recovery, Michelle tailors her treatment to the individual. With a strong background in competitive sports, she is familiar with helping her patients meet goals around their timeline for returning to sport, improving their biomechanics and increasing their sports performance.

Education/Background

  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy, University of Washington, Seattle, WA
  • BA in Biology, Bryn Mawr College, Bryn Mawr, PA
  • Continuing education includes NAIOMT coursework in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; Mulligan technique; foot/orthotics coursework; running biomechanics; and shoulder injuries and mechanics.

Michelle was a competitive Division III college basketball and volleyball player. During college, Michelle began playing rugby and has continued to play on local club teams as well as on regional all-star teams. Her other interests include snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, ultimate Frisbee and Gaelic football. In general, Michelle enjoys learning about new sports and activities both personally as well as to help her patients return to the activities they love.
