Michelle Bostick brings to our clinic experience working in multiple orthopedic outpatient settings and with a diverse range of patients, covering the lifespan from pediatrics on up.  Michelle focuses on identifying the biomechanical causes of her patients’ injuries, and uses a multifaceted approach to create a well-balanced treatment program.  Understanding that each patient has different needs for recovery, Michelle tailors her treatment to the individual.  With a strong background in competitive sports, she is familiar with helping her patients meet goals around their timeline for returning to sport, improving their biomechanics and increasing their sports performance.

  • Continuing education includes Institute of Physical Art (IPA) coursework in PNF, Gait and Core First Strategies; NAIOMT coursework in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine; Mulligan technique; foot/orthotics coursework; multiple running biomechanics courses; shoulder injuries and mechanics; CrossFit mobility course

Michelle was a competitive Division III college basketball and volleyball player. During college, Michelle began playing rugby and played for 14 years on local club teams as well as on regional all-star teams. She has been an active member of CrossFit since 2010. This has led to specific training in the Olympic lifts as well as taking the Kelly Starett mobility course. Since leaving rugby she has found an interest in bikes and dirt and has participated in a women’s mountain bike freeride competition, downhill mountain bike camp at Whistler and cyclocross races around Seattle.  Her other interests include trail running, snowboarding, hiking, and Gaelic football.
