Claire, Leamy, PT, DPT

Claire believes physical therapy is a tool that empowers people to get back to what they love. In her physical therapy practice, Claire combines her current knowledge with past experience in adult health education and her love for the outdoors to tailor treatments that match each individual’s goals. She is currently pursuing her specialist certification in Women’s Health Physical Therapy. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, and has presented research at state and national conferences in the field of cultural competency training for physical therapists. 

In her free time, Claire enjoys yoga, dance, and endurance sports of all kinds including running with a recreational run club, bike touring, cross country skiing and open water swimming. Claire is also an avid fan of the arts.  She likes to attend live theater and musical performances around Seattle.  

Claire received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Science and French from Wellesley College, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Washington.
