We are preferred providers for most insurance companies in the state of Washington including: Blue Cross Blue Shield (Regence & Premera), Medicare (must include Part B), Kaiser Permanente (PPO, not HMO), First Choice Administrators, Aetna, Cigna, Washington Dept. of Labor & Industries, and most commercial PIP plans.
If you have a high deductible insurance plan or are out of network with Real Rehab Sports and Physical Therapy you may still receive excellent physical therapy services from our team on a cash pay basis. Please feel free to call our office to inquire more about insurance plans and cash pay options.
In the state of Washington, patients have direct access to physical therapy services without the need for prescription or referral from a physician or non-physician practitioner (NPP). However, benefit coverage for physical therapy services is ultimately determined by your insurance carrier. Many insurance companies now require a referral or pre-authorization. Although we will check your benefits prior to your first visit, it is best that you review your own benefit coverage. Be aware that prescriptions, referrals, and pre-authorizations do not guarantee coverage from an insurance provider.
Should you experience problems in receiving the physical therapy benefits as outlined by your insurance carrier or have concerns regarding your benefits and coverage, we encourage you to file complaints with the Office of Insurance Commissioner (OIC).”
