IZETTE SWAN, PT, DPT
Izette Swan is founder and owner of Real Rehab. She is a 1997 graduate of the University of Washington Physical Therapy Program and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy and Business Management in 2015 from the Evidence in Motion Institute. Through the completion of numerous continuing education classes including those offered by the Institute of Physical Art, NAIOMT, Richard Jackson Seminars and Kathe Wallace, she has developed an eclectic approach to evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal issues. While she enjoys the complexities of working with all patients, she has a special appreciation for the evaluation and treatment of low back, pelvic and hip issues and has more recently added women’s pelvic floor to this list. She performs biomechanical bike fits utilizing the Computrainer, levels, lasers and car jacks.
Izette spent two years as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana, Africa, has traveled through Africa, Europe, Central America, New Zealand and South America. She is an avid outdoor enthusiast who likes to hike, bike, ski and run. She is a retired Cat 2 road bike racer has run a few marathons and did a few endurance mountain bike races.
