Lauren grew up in Columbus, Ohio participating in various sports including softball and gymnastics. While recovering from a series of athletic injuries, Lauren had such a positive experience with physical therapy as a patient that she decided to make a career out of helping others get back to doing activities they love. She strives to provide the same positive experience for her patients that she enjoyed as a patient herself.

Lauren attended Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. After graduation, Lauren decided to head to the mountains and move to Seattle.

Lauren enjoys treating patients of all ages and abilities. She earned her Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) in order to better tailor treatments to mimic functional movements done in everyday life. She is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Astym Provider. Lauren finds it important to ensure that each patient not only understands their symptoms but has the knowledge to continue with their exercise program independently to reduce the risk of future injuries. She is passionate about empowering patients to take charge of their health and become active members of their healthcare team.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys hiking, backpacking, chasing sunsets, watching football, finding live music, and exploring the many things the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
